Host immune response to infection with porcine circoviruses

چکیده
Abstract Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2), which serves as a major causative agent of PCV2-associated diseases and causes severe loss to the pig industry worldwide, can dysregulate immune response induce immunosuppression in PCV2-infected pigs. Similar PCV2, porcine 3 (PCV3), newly identified swine might be closely associated with dermatitis nephropathy syndrome, reproductive disorder, multisystemic inflammatory responses, also interferes host defense. Interaction between system PCVs is considered crucial determinant pathogenicity Here, we sought briefly discuss current knowledge regarding interaction and/or cells responses better depict viral immunomodulatory capacity, pathogenic mechanisms, future research direction infection PCV2 PCV3.

Host Immune Response to Chlamydia Infection
1. protection against intracellular bacteria is mediated by T cells, which are interacting, not directly with the pathogen, but with the infected cell surface; antibodies exhibit a minor effect on the immune protection against intracellular infections; 2. infections by intracellular bacteria is accompanied by delayed hypersensitivity reactions that occur after the local administration of solubl...
متن کاملMethods for transcriptomic analyses of the porcine host immune response: application to Salmonella infection using microarrays.
Technological developments in both the collection and analysis of molecular genetic data over the past few years have provided new opportunities for an improved understanding of the global response to pathogen exposure. Such developments are particularly dramatic for scientists studying the pig, where tools to measure the expression of tens of thousands of transcripts, as well as unprecedented ...
متن کاملPorcine Circoviruses and Xenotransplantation
Allotransplantation and xenotransplantation may be associated with the transmission of pathogens from the donor to the recipient. Whereas in the case of allotransplantation the transmitted microorganisms and their pathogenic effect are well characterized, the possible influence of porcine microorganisms on humans is mostly unknown. Porcine circoviruses (PCVs) are common in pig breeds and they b...
متن کاملA with-in host Dengue infection model with immune response
A model of viral infection of monocytes population by dengue virus is formulated in a system of four ordinary differential equations. The model takes into account the immune response and the incidence rate of susceptible and free virus particle as Beddington-DeAngelis functional response. By constructing a block, the global stability of the uninfected steady state is investigated. This steady s...
متن کاملThe host immune response to gastrointestinal nematode infection in sheep
Gastrointestinal nematode infection represents a major threat to the health, welfare and productivity of sheep populations worldwide. Infected lambs have a reduced ability to absorb nutrients from the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in morbidity and occasional mortality. The current chemo-dominant approach to nematode control is considered unsustainable due to the increasing incidence of anth...
